Arm Warmer Tattoo

tattoo on bicep, healing and after care advice? ?

Hey guys. I finally finished my half sleeve yesterday...and i have about 16 hours logged on my right arm/half sleeve...so I have some experience with aftercare...i'm just worried about the my entire bicep being done and the healing situation (btw, the bicep killed like crazy!)...the inside of the arm will be rubbing against my body, my shirt, and when sleeping, rubbing against my body...i'm trying to find a good way to get this to heal right, but also not get it to dry up and stick to anything while sleeping...what do you think i should do ? Just put some tattoo goo and sleep as normal with a cotton t shirt over it and if it sticks to the shirt, then jsut put warm water on teh shirt and peel it off? or maybe saran wrap for a few nights? gauze pads? waht do u guys think? I see people with huge back pieces and i'm sure they cant cover that with saran wrap or gauze, so they obviously just put on a shirt and sleep....so i think i might be too worried as well

Seems to me like you have the right idea. I think you're just a little too worried honestly. =) If you cover it with saran wrap or gauze (Nonstick) just make sure its only while you're sleeping so that it gets as much air as possible, However I think a plain T shirt that you don't mind messing up would work fine, Seeing as how it will bleed out for a day or two. When I had the tops of my feet done, I used saran wrap while I had to wear socks and shoes. They healed fine. Just as long as you keep it clean obviously . Good Luck
